Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an organised Inventory Coordinator to own end-to-end stock accuracy across three stores. You will manage stock intake, tagging, and allocation for new collections, and run regular counts to keep data clean for buying and sales decisions.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in retail inventory or warehouse ops, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and the ability to travel between stores.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in retail inventory, merchandising, or warehouse operations (fashion/retail preferred).
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; POS or inventory management software experience a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with repetitive counting/reconciliation work.
• Able to travel between store locations as needed.
• Basic understanding of fashion retail seasonality (collection drops, sales cycles).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end stock accuracy and flow across three stores
• Manage stock intake, tagging, and allocation for new collections across all stores
• Conduct regular stock counts/audits and reconcile discrepancies (system vs. physical)
• Coordinate inter-store stock transfers based on sales velocity and demand
• Maintain accurate SKU records, sizing/color breakdowns, and product categorization in POS/inventory system
• Monitor stock levels to flag reorder points, slow-movers, and clearance candidates
• Support wholesale and pop-up/event stock logistics
• Prepare inventory reports (stock aging, sell-through, shrinkage) for management
• Liaise with sourcing/production on incoming shipment timelines and discrepancies
• Assist with year-end/season-end stocktake
