Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an accounting professional to manage Inventory and Fixed Assets in Malaysia. You will ensure accurate transactional processing under global policies and support local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP requirements.

The role requires SAP ERP experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across cultures within a multinational setting. You will participate in stock counts, asset accounting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Professional education in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 2 to 3 years accounting experience.
• Experience in a multinational company environment and SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the Inventory Accounting Regional Process Lead to deliver performance within the team.
• Standardize and align tasks across the team.
• Handle USGAPP, IFRS and local GAAP inventory accounting, FIFO valuation, product costing and adjustments.
• Provide accounting support and problem solving for inventory functions.
• Liaise with Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and related reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, asset stock counts and reconciliations.
• Oversee plant projects/capital expenditure control with site management.
