Job summary

Baxter in Malaysia is seeking a Global Fixed Assets Accountant to strengthen our asset accounting, controls, and reporting across regions.

You will prepare journals, perform reconciliations, record asset movements, and support internal and external audits while collaborating with country finance teams.

To succeed, bring 5+ years in fixed assets, US GAAP expertise, and fluency in English and Mandarin; willingness to travel and occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fixed asset accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and application.
• Experience in multinational environments and/or audit.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review manual journals for fixed asset activity with solid documentation.
• Complete fixed asset reconciliations in Blackline within deadlines.
• Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation timely.
• Collaborate with local country finance teams to resolve queries.
• Provide audit support and readiness for internal/external reviews.
• Support regional/global reporting, including balance sheet and P&L flux.
