Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity across ERP and warehouse systems. You will act as a key link between Production, QA, Customer Service and logistics, balancing daily execution with continuous improvement.

You will lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve stock issues while maintaining compliance with FIFO/FEFO and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or supply chain environments.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS platforms such as JDE and SAP.
• Strong knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and inventory management principles.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and produce actionable reports.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy and data integrity across ERP and WMS.
• Monitor inventory movement and enforce FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize stock risks and ensure product compliance.
• Coordinate outbound order fulfilment, shipping readiness and documentation to support on-time customer deliveries.
• Partner closely with Production, QA, Customer Service and logistics stakeholders to resolve inventory and delivery issues.
• Lead inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock takes, transaction reviews and discrepancy investigations.
• Supervise and support Inventory Officers/Assistants in daily inventory operations and reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities that strengthen inventory controls, operational efficiency, and inventory record accuracy.
