Job summary

The Hershey Company in Malaysia & India seeks a Controller Inventory to oversee inventory and manufacturing accounting across facilities in the region. You will ensure accuracy of financial statements, governance, and compliance with US GAAP and SOX.

Lead complex analyses, provide guidance, support audits, and drive process improvements with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders to strengthen controls and deliver reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong inventory accounting and cost accounting experience.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations or plant networks.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance and audit activities.
• Hands-on SAP experience, including inventory and manufacturing accounting modules.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Complex Accounting Analyses with broad financial impact.
• Provide Functional and Technical Guidance and Advisory Support to stakeholders.
• Oversee Financial Reporting Accuracy and disclosures.
• Support Audits and Regulatory Reviews as a key accounting contact.
• Influence Process and Control Enhancements to strengthen governance and controls.
