Job summary

Hershey Malaysia is seeking a Material Handler (Warehouse) to support production by inspecting forklifts, managing materials, and ensuring accuracy on the line. The role requires forklift certification and a minimum of three years in manufacturing.

You will coordinate with production, update the SAP system, and handle recycling-related transports. The position involves moving materials, loading and unloading, and maintaining safe operations in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and valid license required.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the forklift prior to use. Complete and sign the forklift checklist.
• Observe forklift and Work Saver battery transport to the charging station when battery charge is low.
• Safely operate Fork truck through employee traffic areas as well as other areas.
• Check updated production schedule to confirm which item is scheduled to run and the correct packaging components are transported to the line.
• Check and update SAP system when required.
• Inventory items on production floor and verify packing materials needed.
• Start placing materials that are left from previous shifts. Priority items first.
• Unload elevator and supply packaging materials to appropriate production lines and other required location
• Remove skids/cardboard and remove from lines.
• Place full cardboard and banding bin on elevator for transport to recycling (stock feed area).
