Job summary

TEXTRAN FASTENERS SDN BHD is seeking an Inventory Officer with QA basic knowledge in Malaysia to receive and process inventory, verify shipments and update records. The role involves maintaining stock records, and using inventory software to track locations and movements.

You will analyze stock levels, forecast demand, perform regular counts and audits, generate reports, and assist in packaging material testing.

Qualifications

• Receiving and Processing Inventory - Verifying incoming shipments, checking for discrepancies, and updating inventory records.
• Maintaining Inventory Records - Ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels, locations, and movement, often using inventory management software.
• Optimizing Inventory Control - Analysing stock levels, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to maintain optimal inventory turnover while minimizing waste and stockouts.
• Inventory Control - Implementing procedures to secure and manage inventory, ensuring it is handled and stored properly.
• Inventory Audit - Conducting regular physical counts and audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records.
• Reporting - Preparing reports on inventory levels and stock movement
• Assist in Packaging Material testing / double checking.
• Preferably with QA basic knowledge
• With GDL driving licence is preferable

Responsibilities
