Job summary

PPG in Malaysia is seeking an Inventory Controller to oversee plant RM and FG inventory, ensure stock accuracy, and lead weekly reviews with SBU to maintain control.

The role analyzes stock levels, prepares weekly and monthly reports, and drives action on slow movers, expired items, and surplus stock with production teams.

Candidates should have a degree, familiarity with Excel and Power BI, and ideally Oracle; experience in chemicals is a plus, with a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field or equivalent
• Experience in chemical industry preferred
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis
• Power BI dashboard experience an added advantage
• Experience with Oracle database is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant inventory for RM and FG ensuring accuracy
• Analyze inventory with reporting for monitoring
• Create weekly and monthly inventory reports
• Identify slow moving/expired stock and escalate actions
• Coordinate with production on surplus stock usage
• Lead weekly SBU reviews to maintain control
