Job summary

PPG is seeking a data-driven supply chain professional in Malaysia to support continuous improvement for Industrial Coatings (Rest of Asia). You will advise regional leaders, analyze inventory indicators, and help optimize procurement and logistics to reduce backlog and unsold stock.

The role requires strong data analytics skills, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and collaboration across supply chain, commercial, and operations teams. Hybrid working arrangement including Flexible Fridays is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive supply chain experience in multinational environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, written and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Collect inventory related data, inventory value, DOI, inventory age, and organize into indicators.
• Analyze data to understand status and trends of inventory and propose targeted improvements.
• Develop inventory control strategies and coordinate departments to optimize procurement and shipping.
• Participate in inventory review and salvage planning to reduce selling expenses and avoid costs.
• Prepare inventory data analysis reports and provide professional recommendations.
