myNews is offering an internship in PJ, Malaysia, focusing on financial reconciliation and administrative support. You will assist with daily stock and cash reconciliation, verify stock records against system data and physical counts, and help prepare reconciliation reports.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a diploma or bachelor’s in accounting or related fields, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn. Minimum 2 months commitment required.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Basic knowledge of stock, cash reconciliation, and data entry is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Responsible, organised, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Available to undergo an internship for a minimum period of 2 months

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily stock and cash reconciliation activities.
• Assist in checking and verifying stock records against system data and physical stock counts.
• Support the reconciliation of daily cash collections and identify any discrepancies for further review.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining reconciliation reports and supporting documents.
• Assist in checking invoices, receipts, stock movement records and other relevant documents.
• Support the team in investigating and following up on stock or cash discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of reconciliation records.
• Assist with data entry and updating records in the relevant systems or spreadsheets.
• Perform other administrative and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
