Job summary

Pantech Group Holdings Berhad is seeking a diligent accounting student intern in Malaysia to support invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. You will assist in budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses under senior accountants’ guidance.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Technical: Intermediate Excel and familiarity with accounting principles.
• Soft: Attention to detail, numerical skills, and discretion with confidential data.
• Attention to detail and passion for accurate financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle invoicing, AP/AR, bank reconciliations and payments; support budgets & forecasts.
• Gain hands-on reporting: prepare balance sheets, income statements & variance trackers with senior accountants.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and payment.
• Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses.
• Reporting: help senior accountants draft standard balance sheets, income statements, and monthly variance trackers.
