Job summary

Kow Hock Building Materials (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting intern to assist with data entry into our accounting system and support AP/AR processes. You will help prepare invoices, receipts, and vouchers, and assist in month-end tasks.

The role requires pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting with attention to detail and basic accounting knowledge. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is expected; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma/Degree in Accounting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Perform basic bank reconciliation tasks.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist in audit and tax documentation preparation.
• Support daily administrative and ad-hoc accounting tasks.
