Job summary

Resintech Plastics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our inventory control functions at our facility in Malaysia. You will assist in organising and maintaining stock, record receipts and deliveries, and help ensure stock levels are accurate and up to date.

You will work with a team to perform regular cycle counts, use inventory software, and help identify process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
• Responsible, organized, and able to follow structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in organising and maintaining a company’s stock inventory.
• Recording receipts, deliveries and inventory levels for all items.
• Regularly reviewing stock levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Assisting in physical counts of inventory and reconciling actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Using inventory management software to track and monitor inventory.
• Coordinating with team members to ensure day-to-day tasks of an inventory department are accomplished.
• Recommending improvements to current procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
