Job summary

Kara Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd (KMM) is offering a QA/QC Intern position in the FMCG sector to gain hands-on experience in food quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

You will support QA/QC activities, assist with inspections, documentation and data entry, and participate in improvement initiatives under supervision in Shah Alam.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree and are detail-oriented, analytical and able to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (food science/tech, quality management, chemistry or microbiology).

Responsibilities

• Assist QA/QC team in routine inspections and checks.

Job description

A QA/QC Intern position in the FMCG industry, offering hands-on experience in food quality, safety and compliance operations.

Key responsibilities

Assist the QA/QC team in conducting routine quality inspections and checks

Support monitoring of product quality and compliance with established standards and specifications

Assist with documentation, data entry and maintenance of QA/QC records

Support sampling, inspection and testing activities where required

Assist in ensuring proper implementation of food safety, hygiene and quality procedures

Participate in improvement projects and other QA/QC initiatives

Perform other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor

About you

Students pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Chemistry, Microbiology or any related field

Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn

Good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

Able to work independently as well as in a team

Internship period of at least 6 months is preferred

Willing to work at U10, Shah Alam

Gain practical exposure to QA/QC operations in the FMCG industry
