Job summary

Koong Woh Tong invites an intern to join its QA & QC team in Malaysia, offering hands-on experience in food quality control and assurance. The role focuses on supporting inspections, documentation, hygiene practices, and production activities while learning industry standards.

You will assist in sampling, testing, and maintaining QA/QC records, with mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to ISO22000 and food safety practices at a well‑established Malaysian brand.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a diploma or degree in Food Science or related field.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; Mandarin proficiency preferred for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn.
• Internship duration of 4–6 months
• Available to start from July 2026 onwards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in quality inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Record and maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.
• Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.

Requirements
