Job summary

Poladrone Solutions in Malaysia seeks a procurement associate to support supply across eCommerce, production and sales. You will help implement SOPs and ensure accurate inventory, while executing purchases under approved budgets.

You will coordinate with China and local suppliers, maintaining relationships to meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup. The role requires multilingual abilities (Chinese, English, Bahasa) and strong communication skills, with a proactive, solution-driven mindset and MS

Qualifications

• Interest in tech and eCommerce.
• Proficiency in Chinese, English and Bahasa to coordinate with suppliers.
• Experience liaising with multiple stakeholders with strong communication.
• Proactive, motivated to solve complex challenges.
• Basic MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job description

• Assist procurement lead to manage supply for relevant departments such as eCommerce, production, sales and more
• Support and implement processes and SOPs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and accuracy of inventory management
• Execute purchasing according to approved budgets and procurement plans under the guidance of procurement lead
• Coordinate, communicate and maintain supplier relationships to ensure a seamless procurement process to ensure timelines are being met

The must-haves:

• Interest in tech and eCommerce
• Proficiency in Chinese, English and Bahasa (to communicate with China and international suppliers, as well as local suppliers)
• Experience in managing different stakeholders with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Go-getter mindset to constantly challenge the norm and highly motivated to solve complex challenges
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, and dynamic startup environment
