Position Summary
The HR Operations Intern will support the HR team in day-to-day HR administration and employee lifecycle activities. The role will provide hands‑on exposure to HR processes, Workday/BIPO systems, onboarding, employee records management, HR documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration & Employee Records: Support the preparation and submission of employment contract stamping and related documentation; assist with employee documentation and records maintenance; prepare HR letters and employee correspondence; assist with leave and employee data verification; support HR compliance and documentation requirements.
- HRIS / Workday Support: Support organizational chart and reporting line updates; support employee data management and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Employee Onboarding & Lifecycle: Support new hire onboarding activities and coordination; schedule orientation sessions and onboarding meetings; track onboarding completion and required employee documentation; assist with employee lifecycle administration and related HR activities; coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- HR Projects & Process Improvement: Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives; assist in reviewing and improving existing HR administrative workflows; participate in HR projects and other initiatives assigned by the HR team; prepare summaries or reports on internship/project outcomes and key learnings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn HR systems such as Workday/BIPO.
- Able to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proactive, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
