Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive HR Engagement & Communications professional to support employee engagement initiatives, campaign materials and internal communications.

You will help design and deliver engaging workplace programs that highlight our people, culture and experience. Join a dynamic team at DayOne as we expand across Asia, supporting regional HR initiatives, event coordination and content creation for internal channels.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and proactive; able to coordinate multiple activities.
• Interest in HR, employee engagement, culture and employee experience.
• Creative and comfortable contributing ideas for campaigns and activities.
• Familiar with Microsoft Suites; Canva, Capcut or any basic design/video editing skills would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, campaigns and activities.
• Assist with HR communications, including announcements, articles and newsletters.
• Support events, workshops and engagement activities, including coordination with speakers and vendors.

Employee Engagement & HR Programmes

• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, campaigns and activities
• Support initiatives related to employee experience, culture and engagement
• Help track programme participation and engagement

HR Communications & Content

• Support the drafting of HR communications, including employee announcements, articles, newsletters and campaign materials
• Assist with content planning for internal HR communication channels
• Develop employee stories and features that highlight our people, culture and workplace initiatives in our People Magazine
• Support HR-related content for internal and external channels, including LinkedIn postings

Events & Coordination

• Support the coordination of HR events, employee talks, workshops and engagement activities
• Assist with speaker, partner and vendor research and coordination
• Support event logistics, communications and post-event follow-ups

General HR Support

• Work with HR stakeholders across different teams and regions to coordinate initiatives
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports and communication materials
• Provide project and administrative support for ongoing HR initiatives where required

What We're Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
