Job summary

DayOne is seeking a motivated individual to join our HR team in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Employee Engagement & HR Programmes function. You will assist in planning and executing engagement initiatives, campaigns and activities, helping shape our workforce experience.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to HR communications, event coordination and content creation across regional teams, with opportunities to contribute to People Magazine features and internal campaigns.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and proactive, able to coordinate multiple activities.
• Interest in HR, employee engagement, culture and experience.
• Creative and comfortable contributing ideas for campaigns and activities.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office; Canva, Capcut or basic design/video editing skills are plus.
• Comfortable working with different stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, campaigns and activities.

• Help track programme participation and engagement.
• Support drafting HR communications, including announcements, articles and campaigns.

Employee Engagement & HR Programmes

• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, campaigns and activities
• Support initiatives related to employee experience, culture and engagement
• Help track programme participation and engagement

HR Communications & Content

• Support the drafting of HR communications, including employee announcements, articles, newsletters and campaign materials
• Assist with content planning for internal HR communication channels
• Develop employee stories and features that highlight our people, culture and workplace initiatives in our People Magazine
• Support HR-related content for internal and external channels, including LinkedIn postings

Events & Coordination

• Support the coordination of HR events, employee talks, workshops and engagement activities
• Assist with speaker, partner and vendor research and coordination
• Support event logistics, communications and post-event follow-ups

General HR Support

• Work with HR stakeholders across different teams and regions to coordinate initiatives
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports and communication materials
• Provide project and administrative support for ongoing HR initiatives where required

What We're Looking For
