China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking enthusiastic engineering students for an internship position focused on construction projects. This is a casual internship role based in Kempas, Johor, offering valuable hands‑on experience in civil and structural engineering.

As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals on active construction projects, gaining practical knowledge in site management, structural design principles, and construction methodologies.

This internship is designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real‑world engineering practice, providing you with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully whilst developing industry‑relevant skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist site engineers and project managers with daily construction site inspections and monitoring
• Support the preparation and review of construction drawings and technical documentation

What we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a civil engineering, structural engineering or related engineering programme
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction fundamentals and structural design concepts
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications accurately
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physical ability to work on construction sites, including standing for extended periods and working in outdoor conditions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; CAD software experience is advantageous
• Keen interest in learning practical construction management and site engineering practices
• Willingness to follow strict health and safety protocols on site
