Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. invites engineering students for an internship focused on construction projects in Kempas, Johor.

This casual role offers hands-on experience in civil and structural engineering on active sites. You will work with experienced professionals on site management, drawings review, material testing, and daily reporting while following health and safety protocols. Open to currently enrolled or recent graduates in civil/structural programs.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a civil/structural engineering program or recently graduated.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction fundamentals.
• Willingness to follow health and safety protocols and learn on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist site engineers and project managers with daily construction site inspections and monitoring
• Support the preparation and review of construction drawings and technical documentation
• Conduct material testing and quality control checks in accordance with project specifications
• Help document project progress through site surveys, measurements and photographic records
• Assist in the preparation of daily reports and construction records
• Support safety compliance activities and participate in health and safety briefings
• Learn and apply relevant building codes, standards and construction best practices
• Contribute to problem‑solving on site challenges under the guidance of senior staff
