Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an Internship For Bakery Assistant (Mandarin Speaker). This program targets students currently pursuing or who have recently completed a Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, Pastry, or related field.

You will assist in daily bakery production, learn bread making end-to-end (kneading, shaping, baking, decorating), support quality control and maintain kitchen hygiene. Mandarin communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues is required, and teamwork is

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, Pastry, or a related field.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
• Passionate about baking and eager to learn.
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily preparation and production of bakery products.
• Learn the complete bread-making process, including kneading, shaping, filling, baking, and decorating.
• Support quality control to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and stock organization.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
