Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an Internship For Pastry Assistant (Mandarin Speaker). Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, Pastry, or a related field.

You will learn breadmaking and assist daily bakery production in a fast-paced kitchen. Must communicate in Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking colleagues, be passionate about baking, and demonstrate responsibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, Pastry, or a related field.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
• Passionate about baking and eager to learn.
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily preparation and production of bakery products.
• Learn the complete bread-making process, including kneading, shaping, filling, baking, and decorating.
• Support quality control to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and stock organization.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
