Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled HVAC service support technician to assist engineers in diagnosing and repairing chiller and air conditioning systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting at sites in KL, Johor Bahru, and Kota Kinabalu.

Candidates should be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, and ability to read technical manuals. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, and chiller/air conditioning systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Engineer in routine service operations, troubleshoot and diagnose problems with chiller/air conditioning systems and advise customers on repairs.
• Perform installation, maintenance and repair work on chiller and air conditioning systems, including electrical wiring and controls.
• Carry out regular maintenance on chiller and air conditioning systems to keep them in optimum condition.
• Follow safety procedures on site and report any unsafe conditions or acts.
• Stay updated with HVAC industry developments and technologies.

Scope of work/ Responsibilities

• Assist Service Engineer in service operation routine works such as troubleshoot and diagnose problems with chiller/ air conditioning systems and recommend to customer necessary repairs.
• To perform installation, maintenance and repair work on chiller and air conditioning systems including electrical wiring, and controls.
• To perform regular maintenance on chiller and air conditioning systems to ensure they work in optimum condition.
• Follow and practice safety procedures and guidelines during work at site and feedback any unsafe work or unsafe act condition.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies in HVAC field and market.
