The Quality Engineering Intern will support the engineering team in improving production processes, efficiency, and quality. This role provides hands‑on exposure to manufacturing operations, process improvement, and engineering problem‑solving in a production environment.
Assist manufacturing engineers in analyzing and improving production processes
Support daily manufacturing operations, including line setup, troubleshooting, and documentation
Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities
Assist in developing and updating work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects
Participate in root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and assist in implementing corrective actions
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Production, and Maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
