JobSummary To oversee and coordinate the Company’s international supply chain activities, ensuring smooth cross-border movement of goods, proper import and export documentation, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with internal departments, regional teams, logistics partners and relevant external parties.
The role focuses on international supply chain coordination, import/export compliance and documentation management, rather than day-to-day customs clearance execution.
Key Responsibilities
International Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end international supply chain activities involving import and export shipments.
- Work closely with procurement, sales, warehouse, finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth movement of goods.
- Coordinate with regional teams, particularly the Indonesia team, on cross-border supply chain activities and operational requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and identify potential delays or documentation issues.
2. Import & Export Documentation and Compliance
- Oversee the preparation, review and maintenance of import and export documentation.
- Ensure required permits, certificates, declarations and supporting documents are properly prepared and maintained.
- Monitor applicable import/export requirements and ensure the Company complies with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Review documentation requirements for new products, suppliers, customers or markets.
- Coordinate with relevant internal and external parties where additional documentation or regulatory clarification is required.
3. External Coordination
- Liaise with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, customs agents and other relevant service providers on international shipment requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and external parties on documentation and regulatory matters when required.
- Review service issues and work with external partners to resolve operational or documentation-related matters.
4. Supply Chain Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve international supply chain processes, documentation flow and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain proper documentation procedures and records.
- Support the development of standardized processes for import/export activities across relevant markets.
- Provide recommendations to management on operational risks and improvement opportunities.
5. Regional Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with the Indonesia and other regional teams to ensure alignment of import/export processes and documentation requirements.
- Maintain visibility of international shipment and documentation status.Prepare regular reports and updates for management on supply chain activities, compliance matters and potential operational risks.
6. Other Responsibilities
- Support management in supply chain projects and business expansion initiatives involving international trade.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration or a related field.
Relevant experience in international supply chain, import/export operations, logistics or trade compliance.
Good understanding of import/export documentation and cross-border trade processes.
Strong coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience in regional or multinational supply chain operations would be an advantage.
Good command of English, with strong communication skills in a multilingual business environment. Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the Company’s local and regional business operations would be an advantage.
