Job summary

Teach East, a well-established international school in Malaysia, invites applications for a Secondary Maths Teacher to deliver the Australian Curriculum across senior classes and contribute to student assessment and learning initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong maths background, proven classroom management, and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, with experience in international settings and comfort with technology-enabled teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, Diploma in Education or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching the Australian Curriculum.
• 2–3+ years of secondary Maths teaching experience in an international or school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across secondary mathematics.
• Experience with Australian Curriculum assessments and reporting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to support students with different learning needs and abilities.
• Confident use of technology to support teaching and learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
