Responsabilités

Internal Audit Management: develop and execute annual risk-based internal audit plan.

We are looking for an experienced QMS & Audit Section Manager to lead our internal audit programs, drive customer audit success, and strengthen our quality culture across cross-functional operations.

Job Description

Company Overview

Key Responsibilities

Internal Audit Management:
- Develop and execute the annual risk-based internal audit plan covering processes, systems, products, and compliance.
- Train, mentor, and qualify internal auditors across cross-functional departments.
- Drive compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Customer & 2nd-Party Audit Management:
- Act as the primary liaison for customer, certification body, and regulatory audits.
- Lead opening and closing audit meetings and coordinate cross-functional readiness teams.
- Prepare audit evidence packages, performance data, and manage timely finding resolutions.
Corrective Actions & Problem-Solving:
- Drive structured root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, A3) for all nonconformities.
- Track, verify, and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Escalate overdue or high-risk nonconformities to senior executive management.
QMS Compliance & Strategic Improvement:
- Maintain QMS documentation, procedures, and Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Monitor key QMS KPIs (Audit Completion Rate, Finding Closure Rate, Repeat Findings, COPQ Impact, Readiness Score).
- Report compliance trends, gap assessments, and performance metrics in Management Reviews.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead, coach, and allocate resources for the Internal Audit team.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to foster a proactive quality culture.

Key Requirements & Competencies

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, Materials) or related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in QMS, with proven experience in Internal Auditing & 2nd-Party Auditing.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership supervisory role.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong expertise in IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 standards and Automotive Core Tools:
  - APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
  - PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
  - FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  - MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
  - SPC (Statistical Process Control) & Control Plans
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 (EHS) and ISO 45001 (OH&S).
Certifications:
- Certified Lead Auditor (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001) highly preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with data-driven analysis and risk assessment mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with international customers and auditors.

Founded in 1972, Carsem is among the most experienced companies in our industry and is recognized as one of the largest in unit volume production. We have over 6,000 employees and ship in excess of 100 million units each week and more than 65% of this volume is shipped as fully tested product. We have three high technology factories. Two are located in Ipoh, Malaysia, and a new third factory is located in Suzhou, China. The two factories in Malaysia, Carsem - M Site and Carsem - S Site, are 10 miles (16Km) apart. Ipoh is a 90 minute drive from Penang and 2.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur.

The factories are supported by extensive R&D and failure analysis staff and incorporate highly sophisticated, "state of the art" automated equipment, ensuring quality products which meet the exacting standards of all the automotive, telecom, computer and consumer goods industries. Both factories maintain world-class quality standards having achieved ISO/TS 16949, ISO-9001, ISO-14001 certifications and comply to the Sony Green Partner Program. They are supported with a global network of sales and technical support offices. The China factory, Carsem-Suzhou Ltd., is located in the province of Jiangsu, 50 miles (80Km) west of Shanghai. The new factory is 172K sq. ft. (16K sq. m.) and is on 645K sq. ft. (60K sq. m.) of land in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The construction was completed in January 2004, the staff has been through extensive training in Carsem's existing Malaysian factories and the assembly and test equipment to support the manufacture of the MLP (Micro Leadframe Package) Quad and Dual was installed during the second quarter of 2004. Customer qualifications were completed during the second quarter and the factory started shipping production volumes during the third quarter of 2004.
