Job summary

Wentel Engineering Sdn Bhd invites passionate individuals to join the Production Welding Department as interns. Diploma or Bachelor's degree students are encouraged to apply to gain practical experience and real-world exposure in a collaborative environment.

Interns receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, hands-on training on real industry projects, and exposure to multiple functional departments, with a possible full-time placement based on performance and availability.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Willing to learn and follow safety regulations and guidelines.
• Interest in welding and sheet metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld small and large components such as panels, hollow, and frames.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Take and read measurements.
• Always follow specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency.
