Job summary

Walnut Education Sdn Bhd is seeking an Edu-Tech Intern to support robotics training, school activities, competition assistance and outreach in Malaysia. The role includes hands-on work with Scratch, Python and robotics, plus travel to schools as needed.

The internship offers full training on Walnut's products, curriculum and platforms, with opportunities to engage with students, teachers and education partners across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Students or fresh graduates from areas such as Education, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Robotics, STEM, Business, Communications or related fields.
• Interested in education, robotics, coding or technology.
• Comfortable working with students, teachers and schools.
• Confident communicating with new people.
• Willing to conduct outreach and follow up with potential schools or partners.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with robotics bootcamps, STEM workshops and school programmes.
• Guide students through robotics, Scratch and Python activities.
• Support students preparing for robotics competitions.
• Assist with competition setup, practice sessions and event operations.
• Prepare and troubleshoot robotics kits such as AlphaPi Buggy and AlphaPi Ultra.
• Support teacher training and school programme implementation.
• Visit schools and support STEM Days, demonstrations and events.
• Conduct simple outreach to schools, learning centres and education partners.
• Follow up with interested schools and help arrange meetings, demonstrations or trial programmes.
• Research potential schools, partners and STEM opportunities.

We are looking for a proactive Edu-Tech Intern - Robotics, Competition & Outreach to support our growing programmes in Malaysia. This is a hands-on role combining robotics training, school activities, competition support and outreach. Full training on Walnut's products, curriculum and platforms will be provided.

Key responsibilities

Assist with robotics bootcamps, STEM workshops and school programmes.

Guide students through robotics, Scratch and Python activities.

Support students preparing for robotics competitions.
