Job summary

Eco World Development Group Berhad is offering a Procurement Intern role to gain practical exposure to purchasing documentation, supplier coordination, delivery monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration in Malaysia.

This 3‑month internship provides guided ownership of tasks, with mentorship from the supervisor and procurement team, while you learn procurement fundamentals and contribute to real processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• Possess good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Procurement Documents: Assist in preparing quotations, Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and other related procurement documents.
• Coordinate Sample Submissions: Liaise with suppliers to arrange and follow up on product sample submissions.
• Monitor Deliveries: Coordinate with suppliers to track delivery schedules, monitor delivery status, and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Support Document Submission: Liaise with the Finance Department to facilitate the submission of procurement-related documents for processing.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team, Finance Department, and suppliers to support smooth procurement operations.

Throughout this 3-month internship, you will learn the fundamentals of procurement and gradually take ownership of assigned tasks, with guidance and support from your supervisor and mentor.
