TNG Digital Sdn Bhd invites an Intern to support Merchant Services Operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will help set up and maintain merchant profiles in the Near Me platform, ensuring accurate business details and tagging for better searchability.

You will also manage voucher content and monitor lifecycle with input from internal teams. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and eager to learn fintech and e-commerce workflows.

• Strong English communication skills; Bahasa Malaysia a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and maintain merchant Brand Profiles on the Near Me platform with accurate details (hours, addresses, photos, categories, tags).
• Verify and update merchant information to meet coverage quality standards against external sources.
• Audit and update merchant listings across states beyond Klang Valley to support geographic expansion.
• Upload and configure digital vouchers, ensuring SKU accuracy, validity, and outlet restrictions.
• Monitor voucher inventory lifecycle and flag anomalies; support campaign configuration and QA.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and prepare ad-hoc analyses.

Intern, Merchant Services Operation##### Contact usLoginBack# Intern, *Merchant Services Operation*NEWKuala Lumpur, MalaysiaIntern#### Duties & Responsibilities* Merchant Data & Coverage (Near Me / Local Lifestyle)* Set up and maintain merchant Brand Profiles on the Near Me platform, including business hours, addresses, photos, categories, and search tags.Verify and update merchant information to meet coverage quality standards relative to external sources such as Google.Support geographical expansion efforts by building and maintaining merchant databases for new Malaysian states beyond Klang Valley.Conduct regular audits of existing merchant listings to identify and rectify data gaps, inaccuracies, or outdated content.Assist in tagging and categorising merchants accurately to improve search discoverability within the TNG eWallet app. Voucher & Content Operations* Upload and configure digital vouchers, ensuring accuracy of SKU details, validity periods, redemption conditions, and outlet restrictions.Monitor active voucher inventory lifecycle — from issuance through to redemption — and flag anomalies or low-stock situations.Coordinate with merchants and internal stakeholders to collect, validate, and upload voucher content and campaign assets.Support campaign configuration and basic quality checks prior to going live, following defined SOPs and checklists.Assist in maintaining the integrity of voucher redemption flows by cross-checking records against operational logs. Operations & Process Support* Follow and help refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and playbooks for merchant onboarding and voucher operations.Track operational tasks and progress using internal tools and maintain up-to-date records in shared trackers and dashboards.Support the team in identifying repetitive manual tasks that could benefit from automation or tooling improvements.Coordinate with cross-functional teams — including Product, Growth, Business Intelligence, and Customer Care — as needed to resolve operational issues.Assist in preparing operational reports, summaries, and ad-hoc analysis to support team reviews and stakeholder updates.#### Requirements* Education* Currently pursuing or recently completed a tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience & Skills* Strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to data entry and operational tasks.Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data organisation, tracking, and basic analysis (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting).Comfortable working with digital tools and internal systems; quick to pick up new platforms and workflows.Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.Interest in fintech, e-commerce, local lifestyle platforms, or merchant services is an advantage.
