Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is offering an internship in the Industrial Project department. You will learn from senior experts across multiple invoicing and cost-control tasks.

Key duties include billing, resolving invoice disputes, coordinating with credit control, filing, costing audits, data entry, and preparing reports. English proficiency and analytical skills are essential for 4–6 months internship.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, transportation or business with logistics minor.
• Professional English, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical abilities and data handling skills.
• Pro-active problem solving capability.
• Experience handling large data sets for reporting.
• Good management and motivational skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Bill and invoice customers accurately and on time per KPI.
• Troubleshoot invoice disputes and respond to queries.
• Coordinate with FICO Credit Control to resolve invoicing issues.
• Manage customers' contract filing in CW1 and shared folders.
• Audit costing and prepare billing instructions for final charges.
• Enter and capture carriers, suppliers, vendors, and costs into CW1 CES.
• Prepare customer reports as requested.

Job description

During this internship, you would be learning from senior experts. Your daily job scope consists of different areas within the department of Industrial Project.

Key responsibilities

• Bill and invoice customers accurately and on a timely manner as per customer billing KPI set if required
• Troubleshoot customer invoice disputes and queries
• Work with FICO - Credit Control team if necessary to resolve invoicing issues and ensure accuracy in rating and data entry on CW1
• Manage customers' contract filing in the CW1 and Share Folder
• Audit costing and prepare Billing Instruction for final charges to invoice customers
• Enter and capture all carriers, suppliers, vendors, and DGF Networks cost into CW1 CES
• Prepare customer reports if requested or required

About you

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent analytical skills
• Pro-active in problem solving
• Ability to handle large quantities of data (reporting)
• Good management and motivational skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• At least 4-6 months internship availability
