Job summary

Daimler Trucks North America LLC is offering an internship within the APAC Operations team to gain hands-on experience in operational performance monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and AI-powered tooling in a regional logistics setting.

The role supports weekly service level monitoring, data consolidation, dashboard preparation, and updates for operational reviews, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools. Strong English communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support weekly monitoring of service level performance across APAC markets.
• Assist in consolidating operational data and preparing standard reporting slides and dashboards.
• Help prepare updates for weekly operational review meetings.
• Identify performance deviations and support follow-up activities with market representatives.
• Track action items and monitor progress against recovery plans.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting using Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools.
• Contribute ideas for improving reporting processes and automating tasks.
• Work with regional stakeholders to collect information for improvements.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and curious intern to support our APAC Operations team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational performance monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and the practical use of AI tools in a regional logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support weekly monitoring of service level performance across APAC markets.
• Assist in consolidating operational data and preparing standard reporting slides and dashboards.
• Help prepare updates for weekly operational review meetings.
• Identify performance deviations and support follow-up activities with market representatives.
• Track action items and monitor progress against agreed recovery plans.
• Support the review and validation of operational data to identify inconsistencies and data quality issues.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting activities using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Contribute ideas for improving reporting processes and automating recurring tasks.
• Work with regional stakeholders to collect information and support operational improvement initiatives.
• Support ad-hoc projects and daily operational activities as required.
  

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Interest in data analysis, reporting, and emerging AI technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.
