Job summary

DHL Group in Melaka invites Business & Logistics students to an internship in the Air Freight Department. You’ll learn from senior experts and gain hands-on experience across the department, applying classroom knowledge to real-world logistics tasks.

Intake begins Nov 2026 and interns will gain exposure to multiple AFR areas, while developing professional English communication skills and MS Office proficiency. Internship allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transportation or Business with logistics focus.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily customer service duties in AFR.
• Assist with trucking arrangements.
• Create jobs in CargoWise (CW1) system.
• Coordinate shipments with customers and internal departments.
• Send pre-alerts for import/export shipments.
• Monitor shipment status.

This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from our senior experts and work in Air Freight Department. During this internship, your daily job scope consists of different area within the department of Air Freight (AFR)

Job Description (Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities):

• Perform daily customer service (CS) duties
• Assist with trucking arrangements
• Create jobs in internal system, CargoWise (CW1) system
• Coordinate shipments with customers and internal departments
• Send pre-alerts for import and export shipments
• Monitor shipment status
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the superior

To be successful in this internship, these are the requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain. Intake for Nov 2026 onwards.
• It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
• Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Willing to work in Taman Malim Jaya, Melaka

Successful candidate will be provided internship allowance on monthly basis.
