DHL Global Forwarding Malaysia is offering an internship in the Air Freight Department for Business & Logistics students. This role provides hands-on exposure and mentorship from senior experts in AFR, with opportunities to learn across various tasks in the department.

Daily activities include CS duties, coordinating shipments, creating jobs in CW1, sending pre-alerts, and monitoring status. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Business, speak English, and be willing to work

Formación

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain.
• Experience dealing with customers is a plus.
• Written and spoken English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily customer service duties within Air Freight.
• Assist with trucking arrangements and coordinate shipments.
• Create jobs in internal system CargoWise (CW1).
• Send pre-alerts for import/export shipments and monitor status.

This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from our senior experts and work in Air Freight Department. During this internship, your daily job scope consists of different area within the department of Air Freight (AFR)

Job Description (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

• Perform daily customer service (CS) duties
• Assist with trucking arrangements
• Create jobs in internal system, CargoWise (CW1) system
• Coordinate shipments with customers and internal departments
• Send pre-alerts for import and export shipments
• Monitor shipment status
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the superior

To be successful in this internship, these are the requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain. Intake for Nov 2026 onwards.
• It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
• Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Willing to work in Taman Malim Jaya, Melaka

Successful candidate will be provided internship allowance on monthly basis.
