Job summary

Teleport is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Finance support professional in Kuala Lumpur. You will own daily AP operations, maintain the cost database, and help standardize data and folders for audits.

You will verify invoices, ensure contractual compliance, and support ad-hoc finance tasks while learning and growing within a fast-paced logistics team.

Your day will be varied, often crossing functions, but most of your time will focus on delivering results, owning your scope end-to-end, making fast, data-informed decisions, and following through on fundamentals like reporting, documentation, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounts Payable Operations & Database Maintenance

• Database Accuracy: Review and maintain the CTO cost database regularly to ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
• Cost Tracking: Support the team in updating and tracking additional cargo handling costs.

2. Data Management & Reporting

• Process Standardization: Standardize the folder structure, renaming conventions, and content within the shared Accounts Payable folder for all AOCs to ensure it is user-friendly for external parties and auditors.

3. Invoice Verification & Compliance

• Auditing: Assist in verifying invoices related to cargo ground handling costs.
• Compliance: Ensure all processed invoices match contractual agreements and internal financial policies.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Support the AP team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
