Job summary

Compact Contech Sdn. Bhd. in Nusajaya, Johor is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with 3+ years of relevant experience to join our design and construction team.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay, proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and able to manage multiple projects from concept to completion while coordinating with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of interior design experience.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay.
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Experience with 3D rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape or Twinmotion is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space planning and design proposals.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and 3D presentations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Attend client and site meetings and follow up on project requirements.
• Monitor design implementation and resolve design-related issues during construction.
