Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to create layout plans and 3D/2D visuals, tailoring concepts to client needs.

You will work closely with the project manager on concept development, presentations, and production, while recommending materials and finishes to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent required.
• Strong design concept and detailing required.
• 5+ years of interior design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare layout plans, sketches, 3D and 2D drawings, models and visuals.
• Propose and design new concepts tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with project manager on concepts, presentations, and development.
• Recommend materials, color schemes, carpentry details and finishes.
• Coordinate with team on project progress and deliverables.
• Present design proposals and ensure schedules are met.

• Create & prepare layout plans, sketches, 3D, 2D drawings, models and visuals.
• Propose and design new concept to each client according to their desired needs.
• Work closely with the project manager on conceptual designs, presentations, designs development and production.
• Propose suitable construction materials, colour scheme, carpentry work and etc.
• Liaise with team during and current progress of all ongoing projects.
• Responsible for project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules as well as preparing and presenting design presentations.
• To assist in any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCad & 3D Studiomax, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, MS Office.
• Possess strong flair in design concept and detailing.
• Good team player with strong commitment and self-motivated.
• Proven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients
• Min 5years experience in Interior Design
