Job summary

Index Design Pte Ltd is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer for our KL Sentral studio in Kuala Lumpur. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in show flats, high-end residential, or hospitality projects.

Strong proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, Photoshop and MS Office is required. You will collaborate with our Singapore office and contribute to design development and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with interior design trends, materials, products and industry developments.
• Transform concepts into clear drawings: plans, elevations, sections, details to support coordination and implementation.

Job description

We are looking for Intermediate Interior Designer in our studio, located in KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in show flats, high-end residential, or hospitality projects to join our growing team in Malaysia.

Our parent company, Index Design Pte Ltd, was established in 1994 in Singapore and has since built a strong reputation for creativity and excellence across sales galleries, show flats, luxury residences, and project management — with works spanning Singapore and the region.

• Collaborate closely with our Singapore office to develop and deliver creative and well-coordinated interior design projects.
• Build strong working relationships through open and effective communication, both in person and virtually. Work collaboratively with colleagues across different stages of the design and project process, sharing ideas, coordinating information, and contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
• Keep up to date with relevant interior design trends, materials, products and industry developments.
• High proficiency with Sketchup, Enscape, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Transform design concepts into clear, practical and well-coordinated drawings. Develop the necessary plans, elevations, sections, details and termination details to communicate the design intent effectively and support project coordination and implementation, with appropriate guidance from the Project Lead where required.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
