Job summary
Studio Putih 5 in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our interior design & build team, supporting renovation and carpentry projects from concept to completion. You will prepare cost estimates, take-offs, budgets, and subcontractor quotes, review drawings, and ensure projects stay within budget.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years QS experience, reads drawings well, and is proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; join our growing team at our new office branch in
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 1–2 years in QS with construction/interior/carpentry experience.
- Able to read construction/interior drawings and pricing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations, Bills of Quantities, and cost estimates.
- Review drawings, specs, and tender documents.
- Take-offs for renovation, interior fit-out, and carpentry.
- Source, compare, and negotiate supplier/subcontractor quotes.
- Prepare project budgets and monitor costs.
- Verify subcontractor and progress claims.
- Prepare variation orders and final accounts.
- Coordinate with Design, PM, and Site teams to keep within budget.
- Monitor material costs and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate costing records and procurement docs.
