Job summary

KLK OLEO in Malaysia is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform calibration and preventive maintenance on instrumentation, ensuring equipment runs at optimum conditions. The role requires adherence to SOPs and safety standards, with responsibilities across TPM and housekeeping.

You will troubleshoot and repair instrument systems as needed, support compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations, and handle additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate in electro-mechanical field or instrument & control.
• Experience with instrumentation and maintenance is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a multi-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on instruments to keep equipment in optimum condition.
• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Follow SOPs and adhere to quality and regulatory standards.
• Practice TPM and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument systems as required.
• Handle any other tasks assigned from time to time.
• Comply with applicable safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

Job description

To perform calibration and preventive maintenance on all instrument to ensure all equipment are running at optimum conditions.

To ensure safe work environment for all employees.

To ensure all standard operating procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.

Practice TPM and good housekeeping in work area.

To perform trouble shooting and repair of instrument system where ever required.

Any other matter may be assigned from time to time.

Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Factory & Machinery Act 1967 and Responsible Care.

Comply with all quality standards and requirements imposed by the Company and product specification required by local and international clients.

Job Success Requirements:

Minimum Certificate in Electro-Mechanical field / Instrument & Control.

Minimum 2 years working experience.

Able to work shifts. (3 shifts)
