Job summary

DHFAVALVE.SDN.BHD is seeking an Instrument Design Engineer / 2D & 3D Draughtsman to create detailed drawings for instrumentation and valve machining, using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related CAD tools.

You will verify dimensions, tolerances and material specs, collaborate with engineering and production, and oversee valve machining while handling QA/QC duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of machining techniques and tolerances.
• Ability to read and analyze technical drawings.
• Experience as a lathe and milling operator preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Instrument Design Engineer / 2D & 3D Draughtsman

[Job Responsibilities]

Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for instrumentation and valve machining processes.

Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to produce, modify, and review precision designs.

Check and verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications according to machining and manufacturing requirements.

Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure design accuracy and maintain proper documentation.

Oversee valve machining and repair operations while concurrently handling QA/QC duties.

[Job Requirements]

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).

Strong understanding of mechanical machining techniques, manufacturing tolerances, and processing.

Excellent ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical engineering drawings.

Experienced Conventional Lathe and Milling Operator

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
-Less than 2 years experience : 2,800 RM~
-More than 2 years experience : 3,400 RM~

Work day & hours : Mon - Sat (08:00 - 17:00 / the rest hour will be all overtime rate).
