Job summary

Hyppies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to oversee payment processing, settlement, reconciliation and treasury activities for institutional and corporate clients, including crypto and digital-asset businesses.

The role requires 5-8 years in payments/finance/treasury and 1-2 years of leadership, with strong skills in Excel and data tools. You will coordinate with banks and internal teams to maintain controls and smooth operations.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in payments, finance, treasury, banking or fintech.
1-2 years of team leadership experience.
Experience supporting corporate clients, preferably within crypto, digital assets or cross-border payments.
Strong understanding of high-volume transactions, reconciliation and financial controls.
Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, ERP or payment platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage daily payment processing, settlements and reconciliations.
Support treasury operations, cash flow monitoring and liquidity management.
Handle payment-related issues and coordinate with internal teams and banking partners.
Strengthen financial controls, risk management and operational processes.
Lead and support the payments operations team.
