Job summary

Media.Monks in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Payments & Cash & Banking Specialist to join its global Finance team. Based in Malaysia, you will handle payments, cash management and banking activities for entities across the region, aligning with standardised processes and local regulatory requirements.

You will report to the Regional P2P Lead and work with the P2P team to ensure timely payment runs, accurate cash reporting and robust reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in Payments and/or Cash & Banking functions.
• Strong ability to monitor complex data workflows and identify issues.

Responsibilities

• Process payments to suppliers and employees, ensuring on-time payments.
• Operate NetSuite OneWorld to execute payments and manage payment runs.
• Generate and validate payment proposals with invoice processing team.
• Monitor daily cash positions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records of cash and banking activities for reporting and audit.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes with cash reports.
• Assist in implementing cash management tools within NetSuite OneWorld to optimize cash flow.
