Job summary

NR Design is seeking an Inspector of Works (Architectural) to oversee the architectural works for the 46-unit, two-storey shop offices project in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time, site-based role for an 18-month project commencing in November 2026.

The successful candidate will register with LAM, bring at least 5 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong knowledge of architectural methods, drawings and specifications. Immediate availability is preferred.

• Registration with LAM as Inspector of Works (Architectural).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in architectural site inspection or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, materials, drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills for site-based work.
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.

• Inspect and monitor architectural works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders on site to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Review workmanship, materials and installation methods; identify defects or non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate site inspection records, progress reports, photographs and documentation.
• Monitor rectification works and verify that outstanding defects are completed to standard.
• Support the project team in tracking construction progress, quality control and compliance.

We are seeking an Inspector of Works (Architectural) to oversee architectural works for the proposed construction and completion of 46 units of 2-storey shop offices under the BBR3 Phase C6A project in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time, site-based role for an 18-month project commencing in November 2026.

Key responsibilities

Inspect and monitor architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders on site to resolve architectural issues and maintain construction progress.

Review workmanship, materials and installation methods, and identify defects or non-conformances.

Maintain accurate site inspection records, progress reports, photographs and relevant project documentation.

Monitor rectification works and verify that outstanding defects are completed to the required standard.

Support the project team in tracking construction progress, quality control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Registration with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) as an Inspector of Works (Architectural).

At least 5 years of relevant experience in architectural site inspection or construction projects is preferred.

Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, materials, drawings and specifications.

Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in a site-based environment.

Strong attention to detail, documentation skills and commitment to quality standards.

Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
