Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks an experienced Inspector of Works (Architectural) for a Cable Car Project based on-site at Penang Hill, Malaysia. The role represents the Architect to ensure construction aligns with approved drawings, specifications and Malaysian regulations.

You will monitor site works, verify setting-out, document inspections, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and produce daily reports while addressing non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building/construction projects.
• Registered with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) as an Inspector of Works (IOW).
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Familiar with Malaysian regulations and standards such as UBBL, CIDB Act 520, OSHA, GBI, and QLASSIC.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced site environment and manage pressure effectively.

Responsibilities
