Job summary

Nexus EC Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian consulting firm specialising in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental Geotechnics and Structural works, seeks an Inspector of Works. Possessing a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least five years of site supervision experience, you will supervise hydromechanical and SCADA-related works at construction sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience.
• Experience with hydromechanical and SCADA systems preferred.
• Proven supervision of mechanical, hydromechanical, and SCADA works at construction sites.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and safety per contract documents and drawings.
• Familiar with construction methods, technical specs, and QC procedures.
• Inspect site works to ensure compliance with drawings and project requirements.
• Good knowledge of site safety and construction practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers and project personnel.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare and maintain site inspection reports and progress records.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel as required.

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably in hydromechanical and SCADA systems.

Proven experience in supervising mechanical, hydromechanical, and SCADA-related works at construction sites.

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring workmanship, quality, and safety in accordance with the Contract Documents, specifications, and approved drawings.

Familiar with construction methods, technical specifications, and quality control procedures.

Ability to inspect site works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Good knowledge of site safety requirements and construction practices.

Able to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, engineers, and other project personnel.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to prepare and maintain site inspection reports, progress records, and other relevant documentation.

Willing to work at project sites and travel as required.
