Job summary

M.E.I. Consultants Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is looking for an Inspector of Works to oversee site inspections, monitor progress and ensure quality on construction projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of hands-on experience, with registration as IOW with BEM. You will coordinate with contractors and project teams and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Inspector of Works or in a similar construction role.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as Inspector of Works (IOW).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

What we're looking for

Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as Inspector of Works (IOW)
