Job summary

Alliance MEP (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee M&E construction activities at a Limbang Division project. You will monitor progress, ensure compliance with drawings and procedures, and prepare daily reports for senior staff.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years supervising M&E works, and an Inspector of Works certificate. Local residents are preferred; travel and accommodation arrangements will be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising M&E construction works.
• Possess a valid Inspector of Works (IOW) Certificate.
• Willing to travel and be stationed at the project site in Limbang Division, Sarawak.
• Must have own transportation for travel to the project site.
• Own accommodation is preferred; priority for locals in Limbang Division or nearby areas.

• Inspect and monitor each stage of M&E construction works for compliance with specifications.
• Prepare, update, and submit daily progress reports; report work progress to superiors.
• Attend site, technical, and coordination meetings as required.
• Ensure works comply with local authority regulations and statutory requirements.
• Carry out QA/QC inspections to ensure workmanship and quality standards.
• Report outstanding works, site issues and non-conformities promptly to relevant parties.
• Verify that materials used meet contract specifications and approved standards.

Job description

Supervise and monitor Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) construction works in accordance with contract requirements, construction drawings, approved procedures, and method statements.

Inspect and monitor each stage of M&E construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Prepare, update, and submit daily progress reports, and regularly report work progress to superiors.

Attend site meetings, technical meetings, and coordination meetings as required.

Ensure all works comply with applicable local authority regulations and statutory requirements.

Carry out QA/QC inspections to ensure all works are completed with good workmanship and meet the required quality standards.

Report outstanding works, site issues, and non-conformities promptly to the relevant parties.

Verify that all materials used on site comply with contract specifications and approved standards.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervising Mechanical and Electrical construction works.

Possess a valid Inspector of Works (IOW) Certificate.

Willing to travel and be stationed at the project site throughout the project duration in Limbang Division, Sarawak.

Must have own transportation for travel (back and forth) to the project site.

Own accommodation is preferred. Priority will be given to local residents of the Limbang Division or nearby areas.
